PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT TRAINING CENTER (PDTC)
Investing in People
Created and maintained in the spirit of service, the People Development Training Center occupies a 1.5-acre lush and elegantly designed campus in Warangal, Telangana (133km from Hyderabad). The Center is kitted out with modern facilities, equipment and the latest training aids.
PDTC has a residential capacity of 150 people at any given time. For larger events and seminars, the grounds can host up to 1 000 people. The Center is available for renting purposes by other organizations and NGOs conducting development-related training programs.
On average, 10 000 local and international individuals visit PDTC annually to participate in its Capacity Building programs. We host programs for community leaders, women, youth, farmers, members of non-profit, profits and government from around the world, interested in Community Driven Development.

The overarching mission of all capacity building initiatives carried out by PDTC through Bala Vikasa is to provide knowledge, impart skills and change the attitudes of participants as regards development. We are unique in transferring the best practices and sustainable approaches applied in Bala Vikasa community programs as PDTC training modules. ‘Talking what we do and showing what we talk’ emphasizes that our knowledge sharing programs are based on our field experience of four decades. Thus attracting the development professionals and students across the globe, PDTC is evolving as ‘Center of Excellence’ in community development.
On an individual, organizational and community level, there is no true progress without a fundamental inner transformation and commitment. Every single training program at PDTC or in the field emphasizes first and foremost on this attitudinal change. Furthermore, a continuous reflection on social issues is inculcated in the training sessions, ensuring that Bala Vikasa innovates and moulds itself to the needs of a world that is constantly changing.
Annually, Bala Vikasa holds nine 3-day workshops and a number of seminars for Indian NGOs, civil society organizations, government bodies and community based institutions in various themes relevant to the needs of the development sector and non-profit management.
The Community Driven Development (CDD), a field exposure cum capacity building program is a one-month residential training for development professionals from around the world.
