STEP 1: REGISTRATION AND MOBILIZATION

Register by filling in the YCW’S Registration Form.

Registrations are accepted throughout the year but should be submitted by the end of February in order to ensure your school will receive its commemorative plaque before the end of the school year.

Get support from your school and your students’ parents.

Use our support materials to get everyone on board!

STEP 2: AWARENESS

Get your students involved by raising their awareness on issues related to your chosen project.
Use our Educational Kit and videos to get everyone interested. Our kit includes videos, workshops and learning exercises suitable for all student levels.

STEP 3: FUNDRAISING

Get your students to be creative and develop their leadership skills.

Decide what kind of fundraising activities you’ll do.

Use our Suggestions for fund raising to give you ideas or feel free to try out new activities!

Whatever the nature of your fundraising activities, results seem to be best when fundraising starts immediately after the awareness step. Many schools choose to limit the project to a period of no more than a month.

STEP 4: RESULTS FROM INDIA

We will implement your project in India!
  1. Your school’s name will be engraved on the well or class room wall
  2. We’ll send you village information and pictures of the people you helped
  3. We’ll send you a commemorative thank you plaque

Schools often hold an event or ceremony to present the plaque; some schools have assemblies where they invite parents and local media.
