Solidarity Trips

We organize guided trips to India once a year for Canadians interested in observing, firsthand, the results and quality of SOPAR’s work.

SOPAR in your community

We are pleased to offer workshops and presentations to your school or community group.

Community Driven Development Course

The Community Driven Development Internship (CDD) is a one-month internship program for individuals who want to experience enriching, accredited learning. The program is open to anyone interested in helping others: University or college students, professionals and retirees.

Youth Changing the World

YCW is an educational program that helps students understand and experience international development work. Students take on fundraising projects that directly impacting the lives of the poor in India.

Walk for Water

On World Water Day (March 22), SOPAR-Bala Vikasa mobilizes Canadian and Indian communities to walk in solidarity with the people in rural areas around the world who walk hours each day to access to water sources.
