Published in March 2013, this book documents the impact of two decades of our Women’s Integrated Development Program in rural Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It is based on research conducted by two NIRD professors and their team, and depicts how rural poor women who have been empowered through socio-economic and capacity building programs have turned themselves into agents of change in their villages and communities and how the empowered women have a played a vital role in bring harbingers of sustainable community development.
