Our cherished CSR partners Franklin Templeton, HDBFS, and Cholamandalam agreed to fund totaling Rs 3.5 Crores for the Community Water Purification Plants, renewing their commitment toward our Safe Water-Revolution for Rural Poor. We have partnered with several socially responsible businesses in our safe water revolution for the rural poor over the past 16 years. 

  • Franklin Templeton-Mumbai agreed to give Rs 2.05 crores in funding toward 57 CWPPs in rural areas as well as slums in small towns of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. An agreement with Franklin Templeton, Hyderabad, is in the pipe too. So far, Franklin Templeton has given total funding to the tune of  Rs.7,58,52,068 to support 242 CWPPs in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
  • HDBFS has signed up to sponsor 30 CWPPs in AP with Rs 90 Lakhs. So far, HDBFS has given total funding to the tune of Rs.1,77,35,440 to support 63 CWPPs in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
  • Cholamandalam agreed to provide funding to the tune of Rs 50 Lakhs toward 17 CWPPs in Adilabad, Kamareddy, and Nizamabad in TS. So far, Cholamandalam has given total funding to the tune of  Rs 3,49,59,676 to support 92 CWPPs in Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Telangana.
  • Our parent organization SOPAR-Canada has also lined up 14 donors for CWPPs in any state. So far, Sopar has supported 520 CWPPs in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Karnataka.
